Interview Preparation - Campaign Ideas

If your institution runs interviews as part of the admission process, then supporting applicants to prepare for this stage is very important. There are different ways in which you might go about this - you might be running webinars, Q&A sessions with your current students or providing on-demand resources on your website. Why not work with your ambassadors to support applicants as they prepare for their interviews? Here are some ideas you may find useful.

  • Use The Ambassador Platform to complement your institution's interview workshops. If students are given the opportunity to speak with ambassadors in small groups about their experiences of interviews and the application process or if there's a Q&A at the end, you can remind them that they will have access to 1-2-1 conversations with ambassadors for any follow-up questions on TAP. You can also include a tracked link in the event follow up comms to allow your prospects to stay in touch with your ambassadors.
  • Take the opportunity to source content around interview preparation from your ambassadors. You can use a Content Group to ask them to share relatable stories or tips on interview preparation. Don't forget that you can share this content on social media and even in email campaigns.
  • Make the opportunity to speak with ambassadors available to all students who have been invited to interview by email and also on the institution's outreach social media channels. You could highlight ambassadors' FAQ answers to "How could I prepare for an [institution] interview?" on the institution's social media profiles linking back to the ambassador's profile.

We hope this is useful. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at support@theambassadorplatform.com if you have any questions or feedback.
