Last week we were pretty busy, visiting multiple universities all over the country, and this week was no exception.
This week, TAP CEO, George, and Customer Success Manager, Georgina, were out on the road again doing customer meetings at Cumbria and Bucks New University. We discussed with our university partners how to better and more effectively integrate TAP with a students' application journey. Both meetings were really friendly and there was an abundance of new ideas.
In his first blog post at TAP, Director of Strategic Development, Nick, discussed Cambridge University's new exhibition, Black Cantabs: History Makers and the importance of having a diverse group of student ambassadors. In addition to beginning his blogging career, Nick met up with the founder of Levana Education who work on delivering a low-cost curriculum in English in the poorest (and one of the most populous) states in India - Bihar.
TAP Co-Founder, Nik, had a fair few meetings too. To kick off the week, he had a meeting with Mark Leach from Wonkhe, where they chatted about all things HE and sector policies. On Wednesday, Nik also met up with Johnson Adeyanju from Bright Network, where they discussed more inclusive and equitable student recruitment methods and the roles startups can play in the process. In another meeting, Nik was advising Project Access - a global community of mentors and entrepreneurial students. They spoke about Widening Participation policy in addition to how to effectively evaluate their engagement. And to round-off the week, he was interviewed by Ed Halliday, coordinator of the King's 20 Accelerator Programme, talking about everything TAP, student recruitment and EdTech.
