It's been a pretty busy week here at TAP HQ...
We’ve now spent two whole weeks in our new home and are settling into the King's 20 Accelerator Programme perfectly. Being continuously surrounded by super innovative, ambitious entrepreneurs who are all passionate to create the best product they can, is really inspiring. It's getting us super excited for the future of The Access Platform and has given us lots of ideas.

On Tuesday, our Co-Founders, Nik and Dom, went to TechStars' Demo Day, where they watched the 10 start-ups graduate from their cohort on the accelerator programme. The groups pitched to a lecture theatre of potential investors, and enthusiastically spoke about their various businesses.
"It's good to see selfless start-ups that have come up with solutions to some of the world's biggest problems, from the sustainable fish supply chain, to the schools funding crisis."

TAP CEO, George, and Customer Success Manager, Georgina, have also been traveling all over the country this week, chatting with our university partners about how they can best work with their community and exploring our new tool, TAP Content, with them. First stop was Sheffield on Tuesday, where George and Georgina visited HeppSY+, who work with Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Sheffield, and South Yorkshire colleges and schools, to increase the number of young people progressing to higher education.
Going on to Birmingham, George and Georgina met with Aimhigher who work to "improve social mobility by widening participation in all forms of higher education". As you can see, they were pretty chuffed with the second summer we seemed to have had this week.

After a day in the office, they were back out again, this time in Oxford. Meetings with Queen's College and Pembroke College resulted in some pretty gorgeous views. TAP HQ were very jealous when this photo was sent through!

Nick, the Director of Strategic Development, even managed to take a quick trip to Copenhagen to see his favourite band, Suede, where he spotted this little TAP reference...

Wow. What a week! We're well and truly settled into our new space at King's, have been inspired by some incredible initiatives at TechStars, and have covered a fair few miles visiting our university partners.
HE Thought of the Week
"You’ve got to loosen the reins and give them control of the channel, otherwise it doesn’t work."
